Amber Sky
Meet Amber who is 15 years old and born in Dunedin, Florida. She resides in the small town of Loudon, TN. She has been dancing since she could take her first steps and comes from a big family of dancers. As a child of a dance studio family, she is always around music and dance. This influenced Amber to develop a love and passion for dance and the arts at an early age. She has 5 sisters, a horse, and many pets at home. Sheis home schooled and is entering into the 10th grade.
Amber has been training in Ballet, Jazz, tumbling, Acro, tap Contemporary, Hip hop, pointe, aerial silks & lyra. She has trained with some of the top professional dancers & Choreographers in the industry to help grow and expand her opportunities in dance. Some highlighted training opportunities were with Saidha Nairobi (Beyonce's dancer), Allison Claire (Janet Jackson's dancer), Top Knoch (So you think you can dance), Sean Bankhead (choreographer), Rikki McKinney (choreographer & good friend) and recently the Guinness record holder for most turns, and dancer, Sophia Lucia.
Besides dancing, she also has a passion for aerial silks. She loves the challenge of dancing in the air! She hopes to take her aerialist skills to new levels and infuse her aerial training into her dance choreography. Amber loves to Inspire others through dance. She also is an instructor to the younger students at her family dance studio. She is enthusiastic about helping them and teaching them to be great dancers and gymnasts.
Amber has won numerous awards and scholarships from various dance competitions. She dances with her team I.C.E.
Talent at dance competitions both regionally and nationally. She was awarded Teen Miss Starquest dancer for her solo in 2017. She continues to compete in dance competitions, but also is working on steps to dance professionally and expand her talents & dreams. To Amber, dancing is the hidden language of the soul of the body, and a way she can express herself through music.
