Ally Rose Marella

Ally Rose Marella has one dream—to share her passion for singing and love of music with the world—and at 14 years old, she is well on her way to doing just that. Ally is a performer from North Tonawanda, NY and studies vocal performance under the tutelage of Mr. Zach Carr at Matt’s Music, Inc. Ally is a proud leading member of the Matt’s Music Vocal Performance Team and enjoys performing and competing both locally and nationally. Some of her many performances include the infamous Carnegie Hall, the Northwest Jazz Festival, Harrah’s Casino in Atlantic City, The Buffalo Bills, Syracuse University Orangemen, University at Buffalo (SUNY), Buffalo Riverworks, and many more. Ally also enjoys hosting her own performance showcases at various venues across Western New York, where she can be seen singing and accompanying herself on the piano, at venues like the East Aurora Music Festival, the Music is Art Festival hosted by the legendary Goo Goo Dolls, and the Hard Rock Café in Niagara Falls, NY. In addition to her prolific performing career, Ally is also a gifted songwriter. Ally came in 1st place in the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame’s 2018 Jack Yeller Songwriter Contest and was able to record her original song, “Brave,” at the prestigious “Imagine Studios” located in Buffalo, NY. Ally has many original songs, all of which can now be found on Pandora, iTunes, Amazon and Reverbnation. Her newest song “Nothing Will Ever Change” was live recorded at Lemur Studios in Buffalo. Some of Ally’s many performance accomplishments include winning both the regional, and national, 2018 Starbound Talent Search Competition; being chosen as a 1st place winner in the 2016 American Protégé Vocal Competition; being crowned the winner of the 2017 Amherst, NY American Teen Idol Search; and being chosen as a finalist in both the Buffalo’s Got Talent competitions as well as the Hal Leonard National Vocal Competition. Ally’s other activities include running cross-country, and track, for the Varsity Team at her local high school as well as dancing and acrobatics. Ally also participates in many local theatre productions and most recently, she appeared as “Pepper” in Lancaster Opera House’s production of “Annie.” Most importantly, Ally enjoys the experience of music and performing while getting to meet so many interesting people and making many new friends. Her genuine love and appreciation for everyone around her is infectious and she remains eternally grateful to the power, and beauty, of music for introducing her to all that life has to offer. Ally would like to thank all of her coaches, friends, and family for their continued support of all that she does, and wishes everyone in this competition so much success!
